Borders are opening!

BIG NEWS!
We've been watching as Australia shut down during the pandemic, wondering if they would ever open again. Well, the day has come. YWAM Sunshine Coast has just announced that Australia has opened its boarders and is allowing student VISA's again.
PRAISE GOD.

Heyyyy yallll❤️ I graduated from my leadership school in December and then did a stateside outreach in LA! It was an amazing time of bringing together different YWAM bases to pour out into LA! We saw healings, salvations, and hearts encountered by the Lord. Later, in Turkey, we had an amazing time talking to the kindest people over tea and getting the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with them. It was an honor getting to pray and prophesy the Kings heart over each person. If you want to hear more testimonies drop your email to be added to my newsletter going out at the end of this week. More to come about Iraq soon. |
We see daily the need for knowing Scripture. Read on as Stephanie shares what led to her decision to attend the School of Biblical Studies next month at YWAM Chile.
Below is an excerpt taken from her February newsletter. "A few months ago, I began to hear the Lord speak to me about entering a new season and I clearly felt Him signaling that it was time to transition out of being on staff with YWAM Chico. It surely wasn’t an easy decision, yet I knew that the Spirit was leading me into a new season, and I chose to depend on His goodness and faithfulness to me! As I prepared to transition out of YWAM Chico, I knew that the Lord was speaking to me about stepping into a short season of rest, refreshment, and healing. In July, I went back home to Colorado and I began to re-focus, come back into a place of rest in the Lord, as well as to seek Him in the place of prayer for fresh vision and direction. In the midst of this season, I was also blessed with the opportunity to go on a couple outreach trips to Mexico where God opened my eyes to see how great the need for Scripture is. During that time, God began to place the importance of understanding Scripture heavy on my heart. Over the past few years, I’ve heard too many stories, in every place I’ve been, of people walking away from God and feeling hurt from the church due to people who had a poor understanding and interpretation of Scripture, or no understanding of it all. It breaks my heart. I don’t want to see people walk away from Jesus or to see people not be interested in Him due to people who may not be representing Him well. However, my heart goes out to those who don’t do this well too because I know that there is a possibility that they aren’t even aware. My heart is to see unity in the church, yet also to see people who don’t yet know Him hunger for Him and to see them understand how to read the Bible, so that they can know where and how they can seek Him and experience the heart of their heavenly Father for themselves in Scripture. I want to see people have a strong foundation in the Lord and cultivate a heart for the Kingdom. Not simply because somebody told them to or it just sounded like a good idea when they heard it in church, or because a missionary said so, but because they know how to seek Him for themselves and they see the evidence of the heart of Jesus for all humanity in Scripture! It all begins with having a strong foundation in the Bible myself." What a beautiful articulation of what Stephanie has been led to do for the Lord. OUR INTERN. We have been blessed to have Bailey Drake run our social media accounts from December to April this season. We will miss her when she heads to Kona, Hawaii to fulfill a call God gave her a few years ago while in New Zealand. God has an amazing way of pursuing us even when we go astray. It just shows how much he loves us. He never stops pursuing our hearts. He is steadfast. He is constant. He is HOLY. We look ahead with hope and faithful perseverance as we support Bailey in this season of her faith walk. "If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny himself." 2 Timothy 2:13 |
Don't be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One... Revelation 1:17
If you are becoming, or are a full-time missionary, and need help with financial transactions, please consider talking to the folks at Modern Day. We met them at THE SEND in Orlando and they have an effective ministry, equipped with the financial information you will need going into missions full time.
While we do deal with initial finances associated with new missionaries, we try to lead full time missionaries to ministries that can better serve them as they look at longer term missionary budgets and financial decisions. Click here for their link |
Tens of thousands of young men and women (The Sent), and their communities (Senders) are answering God's call to love through discipleship training and outreach. Not summer camp or philanthropic tourism, but an experience that teaches total reliance on God while carrying out the great commission.
Our greatest passion is that those who would respond to God's call should be sent - and receive the training and experience necessary to carry out the great commission wherever God calls them.

Like for real, I've actually been used by GOD to heal someone!
This has only been possible by laying down others and my own opinion of myself and hearing the truth of who God says I am.”
I always thought that following God meant becoming boring, but I have never been as brave or adventurous as I am now.
I took a step in faith and started posting about Jesus on my Instagram.
Lecture phase was such a great experience. God showed up and revealed himself in so many new ways.
